There is a lot of trend analyzing going on at the moment. I have the deepest respect for that profession and yes it is a profession. You are not a photographer just because you have bought a great camera and you are not a trendanalyzer just because you work with fashion or interiors..So when not listening to Li Edelkoort I keep my ears and eyes closed, trust my gutfeeling and today I want black, brown, chocolate & Kate Moss...that is not a trend!

Bästa bästa Lina ska sluta jobba hos mig efter två år och därför söker jag en ny assistent.

Det är en heltidstjänst som ibland kan innebära oregelbundna tider och resor. Du bör känna till Stockholms butiker och utbud (veta var man kan få tag på allt från typ stenskivor och möbler till snickare, konstiga plantor och köksprylar), ha körkort, vara ganska händig, ha jobbat med någon form av produktion tidigare (gärna varit stylistassistent).

Några dagar i veckan är vi oftast på fotograferingar men en stor del av tiden planerar vi jobben och då handlar det för dig om att hyra in rekvisita, boka upp bud, packa upp, packa ner, hålla ordning på logistiken och på torsdagar har vi öppet i butiken. Jag behöver inte en duktig stylist utan någon som är ordningsam och bra på att hålla många bollar i luften samtidigt men givetvis också har lite koll på inredning...det är galet stressigt ibland men nästan alltid väldigt roligt!

This concretehouse "Brandhaus 2" by Staufer & Hasler Architects has no windows, insulation or furnitures and the interior is built as a labyrinth all to be set on fire and train firefighters. Beautiful.

Today is the last day of holiday for me, tonight I am kickstarting 2012 by going to Denmark on a photoshoot for two weeks. New year, new start ...and new calendar. My favourite is this one that graphic designer Klara Sandqvist is printing for Lotta Agaton Shop as we speak, hopefully it will be ready and for sale in the shop this thursday!

T A C K alla ni som kom till butiken igår, vi är överväldigade och lite i chock över responsen. Det var kaotiskt emellanåt så vi kommer att hålla öppet mellan klockan 11-14 på lördag som bonus till er som inte orkade stå i kassakön...och vi ska beställa en ny laddning kastruller men de kommer nog inte att hinna komma förrän i januari.
Vi har fått väldigt mycket önskemål om webshop, det är på gång, vi måste bara pusta ut en stund först...om behoven blir för stora så skicka ett mail så försöker vi självklart att hjälpa er att skicka varor ändå.

I övermorgon, den 15 december öppnar jag äntligen Lotta Agaton Shop. Det är en liten butik i anslutning till mitt nya kontor på Rådmansgatan 7 i Stockholm där jag kommer att sälja mina favoritmöbler och prylar. Vi kommer att ha öppet på torsdagar mellan klockan 12-20. Hurra vad roligt, välkomna!
On Thursday, December 15 I will finally open Lotta Agaton Shop in my new studio on Rådmansgatan 7 in Stockholm. I will sell all the things that I like and the shop will be open on Thursdays between the hours of 12-20. No webshop yet but we are working on it. Welcome!

I went to Li Edelkoorts trendlecture Bliss the other week. She was talking a lot of architecture and our urge for nature and how the houses will look more and more like huts or tents with lots of irregular windows in the future, so I guess this house by Kyoko Ikuta is very 2013.
She also said that white, natural colours and organized interiors is the thing...yay!

Last furniturefair in Milan we were all fighting to buy these japanese papervases that run out of stock in a minute at Spazio Rosanna Orlandi. I didn't manage to get one therefore I am extra happy to have received a delivery to my shop. You unfold them yourself (..that is just about as much DIY I can manage), 290 SEK for a set of three. Yey!
